About Us
As followers of Jesus Christ, the mission of Bethel Lutheran Church: "We are called, enlightened, and empowered through Christ to worship, witness, and serve"
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Bethel Lutheran Church, which was formed with only 32 members in 1917 as a Norwegian Lutheran congregation, is located on its original site just northeast of Brush Prairie. It is the home of the Rocksolid Community Teen Center, which provides a safe haven at the end of the school day for 5th through 12th grade students from the Battle Ground and Hockinson School Districts. Sunday morning services at Bethel are available in person, on YouTube Live and by phone patch at 10:00 AM. Sunday school classes for adults are at 9:00 AM and Bible Time for children takes place during the worship service, following the scripture reading. The children return for Holy Communion and the rest of the service.
